When Wendy came to the Sanctuary as a youngster she was partially sighted due to a cataract but now she is blind in her left eye due to a full cataract formation. She manages quite well and stays with her friends when out in the field. She has regular treatment by the farrier for a food imbalance and also has mild osteoarthritis and minor abnormalities in her fetlock. All these issues require regular veterinary care and medication which can be very costly.
