Star is a lovely affectionate pony who loves being groomed and going for walks. He haa a very low grade lameness with no obvious cause so this monitored by the Sanctuary staff by visual examination and if there are any changes noticed, a routine check by the veterinary surgeon is arranged. He has also had colic surgery many years ago, which means we have to monitor his diet carefully and keep his gut free and moving.
