The Only Foals and Horses Sanctuary are holding a 5 mile sponsored dog walk on the 15th August to start at 1.00pm from the Sanctuary. The walk is to be held around the Brookside area of Oswaldtwistle.
Sponsor forms can be obtained from the Oswaldtwistle Charity Shop, the Farm or Pampered Pets In Oswaldtwistle. You can also ring for a form by calling Tel: 01254 239995.
There will be comfort stops along the way and the Tea Room at the Sanctuary will be open. A certificate will be given to all that complete the walk.

Only Foals & Horses works to rescue some of the very young foals and older horses who are at great risk each year of mistreatment and neglect. we rehabilitate and rest the sick or malnourished, and retire the very old and the lame.
The sanctuary is often the first place of call when a home is needed. in many cases equines arrive at the sanctuary in poor health and requiring expensive treatment.
We currently have over 140 horses and ponies, plus donkeys, sheep and goats. we are based at Redshell Stables, Oswaldtwistle, near Accrington, and also house animals at nearby Altham Stables, near Burnley, and at Fortrie Stables, Turrit, Aberdeenshire.
Whilst based in the North West we by no means limit our care to those in need in this area. we care for horses and ponies from throughout the UK; Shetland, Aboreavanney, Sussex and North Yorkshire to mention but a few.
